이수빈은 서울을 기반으로 작곡가로 활동하고 있다. 영화음악, 현대음악 분야에서 주로 활동하고 있으며 영화음악의 경우 2012년, 장편 다큐멘터리 <울면서 달리기>에서 음악감독으로 데뷔한 이후 지금까지 다수의 장편, 단편 영화에 음악감독으로 참여해왔다. 대표작으로는 영화 <3670>, 애니메이션 <그 여름>, 영화 <습도 다소 높음> 등이 있으며 샌프란시스코국제영화제, 벤쿠버국제영화제, 판타지아영화제, BFI 런던영화제, 로체스터국제영화제, 유바리국제판타스틱영화제, 전주국제영화제, 부천국제판타스틱영화제, 서울독립영화제 등 여러 국내외 영화제에서 참여했던 작품들이 상영되었다.

현대음악 작업을 살펴보면 작곡가로서 전통과 현대 사이의 끈을 연결하는데 관심을 두고 있다. 주요 이력으로는 료고쿠바시 강변음악제 2025, Festival Présences 2023, 영월현대음악제에서 작품을 발표한 바 있으며 그동안 협업한 현대음악 단체로는 Ensemble Modern, TIMF Ensemble, CAMP, Odelya Trio 등이 있다. 현재 한국예술영재교육원에 출강중이며, 2020년부터는 온라인 출판사 BabelScores에서 작품을 출판하고 있다.

작곡가 외에 피아니스트로서 연주활동도 병행하고 있다. 2020년, 작곡가 박형준과 함께 피아노 4hands 그룹인 <듀오 피터빈>을 결성하였고 서울, 제주 등 국내 여러 지역에서 연주를 이어가고 있다. 또한 기성곡 외에 4hands를 위한 작품 창작 및 편곡도 함께 병행하고 있다.

LEE Soobin (b. 1991) is a Seoul-based composer working in film scores and contemporary music. He made his debut in 2012 with the documentary <Run, Run, as Fast as You Can> and has since contributed to numerous feature and short films. His notable works include <3670>, <The Summer>, and <Humidity Alert>. Many of the films he has scored have been selected and screened at international film festivals such as the San Francisco International Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, Fantasia Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival, Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival, Rochester International Film Festival, JEONJU International Film Festival, Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, and Seoul Independent Film Festival.

As a contemporary music composer, he explores the relationship between traditional and modern sound. His works have been performed at festivals and conferences, including the Ryogokubashi Riverside Music Festival (2025), Festival Présences (2023), Yeongwol Contemporary Music Festival, the University of South Florida, and the University of North Georgia. He has collaborated with ensembles and soloists such as Ensemble Modern, TIMF Ensemble, CAMP, and Odelya Trio. Currently, he lectures at the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts. Since 2020, his works have been published and represented by BabelScores.

In addition, he performs as a pianist with Duo Petervin, a piano four-hands ensemble, which has given concerts in Seoul, Jeju, and other cities across South Korea.

​ソウルを基盤に作曲家として活動しており、映画音楽・現代音楽の分野で主に活動している。作曲家として古典的な作曲法と現代の間をつなぐことに興味を持っており、「Festival Présences 2023」、「寧越現代音楽祭」を含めた様々な現代音楽のフェスティバル及びコンサートで作品を発表してきた。今まで協演した演奏団体としてEnsemble Modern、CAMP、TIMF Ensembleなどがあり、そのほかに映画音楽作業の代表作として「3670」、「あの夏」、「湿度多少高い」など。​
